More champions, more Gentlemen drivers, more parades, more historical bikes, more sidecars… Imola is at the verge of a major weekend that will take place from the 30th of September till the 2nd of October. Last year’s first edition was a complete success and the organisers have even done better for next weekend’s second edition of the 200 Miglia di Imola Revival.
The 100 miles complete the programme …
Last year, for the first edition of the 200 Miglia di Imola, the organisers focused on this mythical race exclusively. But in their quest to offer always more to the fans of classic and beautiful machines, they now also put the original prologue on the programme: the 100 Miles !
This race has different origins.
Father and son win at Daytona ! Don Emde at the 200 Miglia di Imola Revival
Throughout the long history of the 200 Miles of Daytona, never a result such as this was accomplished : a father and son win the same race. An achievement only the Emde family reached.
Only the elite !
Just like in 1972, a real avalanche of champions will get on the track of Imola between the 30th of September and the 2nd of October. The second edition of the 200 Miglia di Imola Revival features among others Phil Read, Christian Sarron, Dieter Braun, Tepi Länsivuori, Mick Grant, Philippe Coulon, Chas Mortimer, Hubert Rigal, Don Emde, Steve Baker, ....
And for those who come from abroad, the list of Italian riders is even more impressive, with Giacomo Agostini and Gianfranco Bonera on top !

Given the success of last year’s edition and the enthusiasm of the many visitors, it was only natural that the Belgian-Italian organisers of the 200 Miglia di Imola Revival would continue this adventure. The second edition of what is already the biggest Italian meeting for classic race bikes will take place from the 30th of September till the 2nd of October and will reunite during these three days numerous champions that have marked the history of this race.

Het ongeziene succes dat de eerste editie van onze toch wel ietwat gekke gok – want dat is een eerste editie van een totaal nieuw evenement toch wel – maakt dat we dit jaar het avontuur van 200 Miglia di Imola verderzetten. Verderzetten maar ook verbeteren, en het programma dat sowieso al goed gevuld en aantrekkelijk was nog verder aanvullen. Want ons doel is om u steeds meer te kunnen bieden, of u nu een kampioen bent, een deelnemend rijder, een partner of een toeschouwer.

200 Miglia di Imola Revival : een uitermate geslaagde eerste editie !!!
Wat een succes, wat een onthaal, voor een nieuw evenement dat plaatsvond tijdens het eerste weekend van oktober op het circuit van Imola. Onder een stralende zon was het op de koppen lopen met meer dan 10.000 toeschouwers in de paddocks die allen een glimp wilden opvangen van de kampioenen en de deelnemers aan deze eerste editie van de 200 Miglia di Imola Revival.
En er viel heel wat te beleven !
